Hey guess what? You may find this hard to believe, but I'm not going to watch the Superbowl-o-rama today. I simply have no interest in the game. And frankly, if I were to watch it, I wouldn't be watching it to root for The Saints, but to root against The Colts. And that's just not my idea of fun. Basically I know myself well enough to realize that the whole thing would be a big negativity-fest featuring me getting aggravated every time anything good happens to The Colts. Why put myself though that? I don't need to spend my day off being annoyed. I get enough of that Monday through Friday.
So there you go. I know it's considered abby-normal in this day and age, but I'm not watching the Superbowl later. I might go with a Superbowl alternative and watch my Patriots Superbowl 36 Champions DVD instead, but that's about as Superbowl as I'm gonna get today. Go Saints and I'll check the final score later.
In the meantime, when's truck day? I made the ceremonial switch out of Football Mode and have been wearing Red Sox head-gear for over a month now, which symbolizes the official transition from Football Mode to Hockey / Waiting For Baseball Mode.
Go Truck Day! Brooons, feel free to win a game, anytime soon would be good for me.
