Crash Course in Brain Periodontal Surgery Update:

The surgery went well and was relatively painless. No more discomfort than expected. I was able to listen to some classical music on my iPod while they did their thing and I pretended as best I could to be somewhere else. The sucky part now is that I can't bite into anything or brush one side of my teeth for 10 days. I guess that's one way to loose wieght. My mouth is not very sore and I got some good drugs from the pharmacy if I start getting really uncomfortable.

To protect the area, they surgeon put some stuff in my mouth that feels just like bubblegum when you press it against the roof of your mouth. Feels kinda wierd.
