Crash Course in [Periodontal] surgery

Today I have to have a procedure done to help prevent some problems I am having with my gums. I'm sure the gory details are not necessary.

It don't expect it to be pleasant. Is going to the dentist ever pleasant? Hopefully I will heal quickly and be back to normal soon.
