Just can't let it go...
I'm wondering to myself if I should turn on the TV and check the score of the Red Sox game. I tell myself, 'why torture yourself with futility? They could be up by 100 runs. In the end it does not matter.'
I've said all day, I'm done and I don't care anymore and I'm not even going to watch 1 inning of the game tonight because nobody comes back from 3 games down. The problem is I really do care, deep down (idiot). This is the real curse. A curse on my existence as a Red Sox fan.
So is it too much to ask for them to save some measue of respect and avoid a sweep? I'm reduced to this.
3-3 in the 6th.
