Sox vs Cubs. We're gettin our butts kicked...

In my previous post I was saying that I wished I was not at work so that I could watch the Sox play the Cubs for the first time in almost a century. However, I've been monitoring the game on MLB and right now it's 7-1 Cubs going into the 5th.

So, although I still wish I was not at work, I'm not feeling quite so bad that I'm not able to watch this Sox / Cubs game. Actually, maybe that's a good thing...

Update:

Bottom of the 6th and it's a painful 11-2, Cubs. I've got my rally cap on, but I have a feeling it may be too late...

The Cards just got their measure of revenge for '04 and now the Cubs are working on getting their pent up revenge for 1918 I guess... Oy.

Wade Miller goes against Zambrano tomorrow. Hopefully things will go a little better.

Is it time to go home yet? I can't wait till beer o'clock...

2nd Update:

Aiiight. Well it's about that time. I actually got quite a bit done today. Do I want to check the score before I leave. No, but let's face it, I can't help myself.

14-3 in the 8th. Ouch! Well, there's always tomorrow I guess..

Have a nice weekend!
