Awesome news for nerds, Konfabulator is now available for free!
Konfabulator is very cool. It displays specialized windows called 'Widgets' that sit on your computer desktop and let you keep track of all kinds of different things. It works on Macs and PC's.
I've written about this software before and I give it 2 nerdy thumbs up, (especially for Windows users.) Now that it's free, definitely check it out (and be sure to download the Baseball Ticker widget.)

C.S. Forester: Hornblower During the Crisis
Just finished... Took less than a week to read it. Though the work is incomplete due to the passing of the author at the time it was being written, it remains a great story. There's nothing like a good tale of the sea and Hornblower always delivers.
