Sox take the 1st of the series...

I am weak. I admit it. When the clock strikes 10:30, my eyelids feel like they have lead weights attached to them and I just - cannot - stay - awake.

I watched the Sox vs. Sox untill the end of the 7th. The Red Sox had the lead and I told myself, "You know what, they're going to win and that's it." No worries. And with that, I went to sleep.

Sometime later in the dead of night, I woke up and was like, "I wonder if they pulled that one out. Maybe I should check the score... Nope. They won and that's it," I told myself, and went back to sleep, feeling as though I would force a Red Sox win, wether the scoreboard read the wrong way or not, simply by sheer willpower.

Well, this morning the first thing I did when I got up was check the score, and yes, the Sox were in the win column. After reading the stories about the game later in the day, I was kind of bummed out that I did not stay up to watch the whole thing.

Sounds like I missed a good one... but there will be others.

Oh, by the way, Happy Reward Friday everyone. We made it. Go reward yourself and have a great Friday!
