Another post about Red Sox frustration...

Hi! Todays theme in Red Sox blog-land is: Frustration.

As we all know quite well, the O's finally won a game and beat the Yankees last night. At the same time, Cleveland lost to Tampa Bay.

1st place in the Division and The Wild Card were there for the taking but it was not meant to be, so The Red Sox remain tied for The Division and The Wildcard.

My gut predictions have been quite accurate lately and unfortunately, it's telling me that the Yanks take the remaining 2 games against the Birds, who probably put up their last big fight last night for pride's sake and are now ready to pack it in and play golf. That leaves The Red Sox margin for error against an excruciatingly, annoyingly, persistent Toronto team pretty much at zero right now... Arg. Why can't Toronto just roll over and die like the O's? Bitches.

At the same time though, my gut is also telling me that Cleveland may split the last 2 with The Devil Dogs before heading into their climactic battle for 1st place in the Central against the Other Sox... We want the Division, but I'll take a Wildcard saftey-net if it comes to that...
