Red Sox vs. Rangers. Let's Go Sox!

In order to help the Sox get the win today vs. the Rangers, I'm trying to pitch in any way I can, so I've got the Sox t-shirt, Sox socks and other Red Sox related garments on. Good Karma baby, good Karma!

Something tells me this is going to turn out to be an important game today. I am not sure what it is, maybe it's just the oatmeal I had for breakfast, but I feel like this could be one of those 'key' games that come up throughout the season. Or maybe it's just that the close proximity of the Yankees to the Sox in the standings has me all on edge.

The MFY have a 4 game set against a tough Toronto team this weekend, while the Sox are going to be taking the long flight out West to play Seattle. Maybe the Sox can put a little distance between themselves and the Yankees by the time Monday rolls around again.

I need to keep reminding myself not to get all caught up in the standings already, but I find I'm already thinking about what's going to have to happen to make the playoffs this year. With the way things are in the A.L. Central, a Wild Card berth is looking like it will be very difficult for The Sox to attain this year. Of course, it would be nice to win the Division for once and not have to worry about getting the Wildcard, but there's still a lot of baseball to be played before that outcome is decided.

For now, Shill is on the Hill today and as we all know,
