At a loss...
I can't believe the Red Sox dropped another game to the Kansas City Royals last night. I'm simply dumbfounded by what's happening to this team lately.
I saw the first portion of the game last night, but I found it to be so frustrating to watch, my Wife and I decided to put in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm instead. (We have been watching season 5 on DVD.)
The Sox still had the lead when I went to sleep, (way too late once again by the way).
I woke up this morning and checked the score. 5-4 Kansas City. WHAT??
Disgusted, I threw on some clothes and went out for my walk. When I got to the end, I grabbed the newspaper as I came back in. I flipped to the sports section and was even more surprised to find that Papelbon had given up the winning run.
I am at a loss. All I can say is Shilling goes tonight. Hopefully he can put an end to this skid.
I went to bed with the score 4-3 in favor of the Red Sox thinking I could trust them to finish off this game. I woke up this morning and flipped on ESPN and discovered that the Boston Red Sox cannot be trusted. I am at a complete loss for words right now...

I can't wait for the Pats to start, even if it is only pre-season. This is usually how it goes. Every year about this time, The Sox start to piss me off and then just in the nick of time, The Pats start playing and divert my attention away.
